Refund Policy

1. Australian Consumer Law
Our goods and services come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law (Schedule 2 of the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 (Cth)). Nothing in this Refund Policy limits, excludes, or modifies any rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law that cannot lawfully be limited, excluded, or modified.
You are entitled to a refund or replacement for a major failure. You are also entitled to have a service remedied if it fails to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.
2. Subscription Model
VedGuru Premium is a subscription service billed in advance on a monthly or annual cycle. All prices are displayed in Australian Dollars (AUD) and include GST where applicable.
- Monthly plan: billed every 30 days.
- Annual plan: billed once every 12 months at a discounted rate.
Subscription fees are charged at the start of each billing period. You can cancel your subscription at any time from the My Ashram → Manage Subscription page within the app.
3. Cancellation
When you cancel your subscription:
- Your Premium access continues until the end of your current billing period.
- You will not be charged again after the cancellation takes effect.
- No partial refunds are issued for the remaining days in the billing period, except as required by the Australian Consumer Law (see Section 4).
4. When We Provide Refunds
We will provide a refund in the following circumstances:
- Major failure of service: The platform is substantially unavailable or non-functional for an extended period (more than 5 consecutive business days) during your paid billing period due to a fault on our part.
- Duplicate charge: You were charged more than once for the same billing period due to a technical error.
- Charged after cancellation: A charge occurred after you validly cancelled your subscription before the renewal date.
- Annual plan — change of mind (7-day cooling-off): For annual subscriptions only, we offer a full refund if you request cancellation within 7 days of the initial purchase date, provided you have not made substantial use of the Premium features during that period.
We do not provide refunds for change of mind on monthly subscriptions, or for annual subscriptions after the 7-day cooling-off period has passed.
5. How to Request a Refund
To request a refund:
- Email us at support@vedguru.app with the subject line "Refund Request".
- Include your registered email address, the date of the charge, and a brief description of the issue.
- We will acknowledge your request within 2 business days and respond with a decision within 10 business days.
Approved refunds are processed to your original payment method via Stripe. Processing times are subject to your card issuer (typically 5–10 business days).
6. Free Tier
The free tier of VedGuru is provided at no charge. No refund is applicable for free-tier users as no payment is made.
